Challenge
Users struggled to find quick expert help.
People often need help or expertise in specific areas, but traditional forums or social groups are inefficient, slow, or overwhelming. The challenge was to create a platform that allows users to quickly find experts, get guidance, and compensate them fairly, all without mandatory subscriptions or complex onboarding.
Solution
A peer-to-peer platform was developed to connect users (“Pals”) who can share expertise, provide guidance, or assist with tasks through short posts called Pieces.The platform was designed for ease of use, scalability, and microtransactions, allowing Pals to monetize their knowledge while users get targeted help quickly.
- Pieces: Pals share knowledge, experiences, or instructions with text, images, and short videos for others to access easily.
- Connections: Users can connect directly with Pals via chat or voice calls for personalized assistance.
- Earnings: Pals earn small payments for views of their paid Pieces or for one-on-one connections.
- Flexible Monetization: Users can pay per piece view ($0.03) or per connection/message ($0.70), with no subscription fees.
- Search & Discovery: Users can search topics or Pals directly to quickly find relevant expertise.
